The GFWC Junior Woman’s Club of Hopewell will award one $1000 scholarship to a graduating Hopewell High School senior and one $500 scholarship to a graduating senior from Prince George High School, Colonial Heights High School, Thomas Dale High School, or enrolled in a private school/home schooling program in those or the Hopewell area. The selected student will have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA, prove financial need, and exemplify leadership through school, extracurricular, and community activities. The scholarship may be paid in either one or two installments during the student’s first year of higher education. Further payment information will accompany the award.
This application consists of 4 parts: personal information, essay questions, references, and transcript/scholastic evaluation form. All parts must be submitted, and all information must be provided. Any application returned incomplete will not be considered.
Please download a copy of the application and submit with your transcripts. A Club representative will collect completed application/ transcripts packets from your guidance office by the due date. As a convenience you may e-mail your completed application to hopewelljuniors@yahoo.com and have your transcripts available for pick-up by a Club representative by the due date.
